Micro light flight

Ready for the off!My Micro Light Flight

On that special day I woke up, looked out of the window and smiled as the trees where not moving at all. My hopes began to rise that I would be able to go on the Micro flight, an experience I had waited for two years. At 9.30 the phone call came to say that the flight was on and I immediately began to feel excitement which rose all morning as the staff helped me in to the special suit which has been sent over by the company. When we reached the airfield and met the pilot I knew that I was going to be in safe hands. It was tCaptain Annehe most wonderful experience as we climbed quickly up to a height of 2000 feet. We flew over places well known to me including swooping lower round Leuchie House. There was no salute as everyone was at lunch! Flying around the Bass Rock and seeing the Gannets in full flight was one of the highlights. I was so happy that day having achieved a long held desire to make that flight without a flicker of fear and coming down to earth full of a tremendous feeling of happiness.
